Ophidiophobia

My mother and I took my two older daughters and my niece to the zoo yesterday. Despite getting caught in a downpour, we had a blast. At one point, we sought shelter in the herpetarium.

Ophidiophobia–the fear of snakes–is the second most common phobia, in the world, topped only by arachnophobia, or, you guessed it, fear of spiders. That being said, I thought I’d share with you all some of the beauties we came across while avoiding the rain.
